The Roman Chariote in all its glory
Here are some nice photos of my judge when I bought it that I just came across. Brings me back to living across from the High school in 1960s-70s in Lindenhurst Long Island as a kid watching these cars smoke um up.

It sure was a wild work of art, and I wish in some strange way that I could have it back like that but the thing is, Some of the work was done well and some was really hard to live with. My final decision to bring it back to original was the rarity of the car and the condition. Thing is if I wanted something freaky to have fun with I could easily recreate what it was on a lesser car. And it would be fun too. I'll tell you one thing. It would have been a lot cheaper to leave it like it was. Hope no one feels I'm crowding the airways, I know the photos of the car have been on here before, but these are much better . just after I got it , with its original polyglas tires on the front on keystones with spinners.

Hard to believe he felt it wasn't 'outlandish enough.'
LOve the look of it now. If my baby was Cardinal Red, this is the color I'd want. |

Great photos! Thanks for the share. Would be neat to get some background story on the prior owners if you have it.

That is classic!! I grew up in 70's and the car definitely fit the vibe of custom paint jobs etc. Not ashamed to admit I wanted a custom painted van in the mid 70's when I was a kid.
Im in Sussex, NJ all the time with my 73 TA, would love to see your Judge one day. At age 3 or 4 my uncle had a 71 Judge hardtop so that eteched Pontiac in my blood for life. I miss my 69 Judge-foolish adult sale, cannot even blame childhood. Brad |

more photos of terribly ugly seats , the aluminum plate under dash was for the mixer in the center of the console to plug into and the toggles where to switch speakers around, the box on the console had two plug in jacks with different volume slides,, It was attached with velkro .The quadrophonic 4way 8 track still works but has been removed.

picture of the car fresh out of storage in Mich. note the purple mirrors, check out the brake line plumbing. When the guy advertised it he said it had aluminum heads installed. actually it was aluminum valve covers.
