Would be easier to say........................... Street legal type car. That's what I did. Less B.S.

BTW: I have the fastest Black 1976 T/A with power windows, N/A, pump gas, stock suspension, tilt factory wheel and a hyd roller. LOL.

Any faster..................... bring it.

from a Former N.E. coast racer. LOL.

I guess sh*t talkin and heads up racing just grew up in the N.E.

Jeff, Brian and I are all was trying to improve on our combo's try some little things have picked up our cars since Norwalk. I can safely say Jeffs would have gone low 80s high 70s out there and I think a low teen high O is not out of the question.

If it wasn't about air or location, they would find something else to Bitch about. Reminds me of the Ford crowd before the SVO program came about.

Now that sounds like my idea of a street strip car...

My goal with my project is to be able to drive from here to Norwalk(anywhere really) and make low nine or better passes then drive home... My biggest concern is tires... I dont really want to have to swap tires but wearing out a set of tires plus road hazard/weather risks might affect what I do there. McCrearys(soft compound DOT dirt track tires) back in the day got the job done did fair when caught in rain but 100 miles at 55 they got hotter than I'd like. I never got a flat and they were only 2 ply. Lot of luck there.

I'm not looking to set records, just have fun. Turbo('s) will certainly make the task easier. 517 miles one way to Norwalk from my house.

Yep. Turbos are where it's at if you want to haul ass and still drive it everywhere. Next time around my engine will be getting twin 74mm turbos and a nice mild cam

Speaking of engines... it's about time for me to make my "what will it make?" thread

Not quite a Yatch @ 3,145 lbs...it was Warped(Alex's) 69 GP..that's a 900 lb. weight reduction Stuck to my Darksider roots though..
Applying for Jr. membership in ECM..if fast enough to qualify..

Note: Car is still under construction..

Nice car Troy, I like it! By sticking to your roots, you get your cake, and you get to eat it too. Are license passes required? Good luck with your newest addition to the fleet!
