Default Parts for my 62 Lemans

Hello, I just found and joined this forum. I am looking for some parts. My car has the 4 cylinder. I am looking for a 63 alternator bracket. 61-63 AC brackets P steering pump and bracket (might need to be from a 63 to work with the alt bracket) and dual groove pulleys.
Thanks for any help.

I've read very little about the power steering system conversion, and there are some rare parts required. You might consider putting off converting to power steering. I drive a manual steering LeMans and it is really quite easy due in part to the enormous stock steering wheel. I think the alternator conversion is much easier and worthwhile.

Contact Steve Snyder with indianapontiacs.com. I sold him several 63 tempest parts cars. He should have an alternator bracket for you.

I contacted Steve, he does not have any ps cars. I told him that I wanted the alt bracket and ac brackets. No response from him via e mail. I guess he must be busy right now.

Can somebody post some pictures of these brackets? I have a very rough 63 4cyl parts car
that had air. Unfortunately that car is sitting in the weeds in another state and I don't remember what all was left on the engine and I would have to rely on calling somebody there to look at the car and tell me what is there. Accordingly, I would need to be able to describe what the brackets look like when I call the guy to look at it for me.

I took a power steering setup off of a junkyard 63 4cyl car a couple years ago. The drag link was worn out so I scrapped the idea of using the setup. I may have some of the pieces/parts of that setup under a bench. If you can post pictures of some of that stuff I'll look for it. If I have it, you can have it for the shippping.

I have converted the alternator to one wire ($50.00) on both my 61 and 63 and left the voltage regulators and wiring in place and nobody knows.

I should have asked for pics of the power steering and AC brackets specifically. (I have a 4cyl alt on my engine in my garage.) If you have pics of the PS and AC stuff please post them.

This 62 Lemans was voted 1st place winner in Norwalk at the Little Indians 50th this past August. I tried to take as many pictures as I could of this set up. AC, PS, Alternator. I am guessing he used half the generator bracket for the Alternator, does not look 63 to me. I was told the AC was not original to the car. All in all a nice car!!

Here is a picture someone sent me of the 62 Tempest power steering setup.
I recently put this setup in my 62 Lemans that I pulled from a 62 wagon I had years ago.

Default AC brackets

Here are some pictures of my 1962 LeMans AC parts. I have an original 62 Tempest Cool-Pack installation manual that I scanned pages from showing brackets.

Default Brackets

I re-scanned images to show better close-up of brackets. The 63 4-cyl. AC brackets should be the same but I think engine dipstick is different.

Thanks for the scans cleveweld, I figured my dipstick would be wrong. My 62 looks like your ragtop.
I am not going to install power steering after seeing the photos of the setup.
Thank you and all the others on here for your interest in my project
