Badbird, I saw your car at Atco this weekend, very nice. I see that you had Rhodes paint your car. They put my Auburn Gears carrier and 4.11 gears in my GTO. I had them quote on painting the car when they had it, very reasonable. Now that I have seen their work, I will probably have them paint it. They are about 15 to 20 minutes from my house. Do you know if they are familiar with painting the Endura bumpers? I am hoping to have it painted in the spring. You better talk to them soon, so Ronnie can line your car up to get it in there...you wouldn't be disappointed! Don't hate the player, hate da game.

Hey Jeff,
Great looking car with performance to match. Gotta love that. I seen it in High Performance Pontiac. I have a '68 GTO with a mild 463 ci. Best et is 11.95 @ 112 at a race weight of 3800#'s. I was just wondering if you ever tried a Torker 2 intake on your motor? |

No, not yet. Im not sure what Im going to do now. I am putting the nitrous system on over the winter and might try the torker II or victor. Either will be better for nitrous because with the RPM I can only go to 150 jets because of the dual plane design.

Holy chit! I remember this thread. That was the reason why I joined the board was to back up what Jeff was saying because Goatman said it couldn't be done. Can't imagine what he would say now! LOL

I wonder if JOE ALLAN is even still around anymore? He portrayed himself as pretty old back then in 2003...

We are all a bunch of personalities Jack... My car(84 GP) IS slow...its supposed to be...it still has a stock 305 sbc under the hood. And Debs real street car(69 'bird convert 406) with real regular radials and 2.56 gear would still need a half track spot so yeah you got us covered. Other EHTTFMF N2O racers are quicker than you!!! BTW whats your best on one kit??? |

Remember I said E-head NOT CV1
Fulton comes to mind but probably lighter...I see Deyton is knocking on your door with a 478 and ONE kit at 3400lbs They both run E heads iirc Jack. See posts 43 and 44 http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...76#post4752876 Quote:
BTW nice job Joe! Jack, how come you need two kits with a bigger motor? Shouldnt your bigger motor more than equal the slight weight difference between you and Joe? And FWIW you better hope Robin doesnt find traction because he definately has gone faster than you in worse air(@174mph) at approx same weight (if not a tid heavier)as you. Yep you finally got him on ET...for now. |
