Motion light sensor lens is cracked.
Does anyone know what type of material is over the motion detector portion?
It'd be a lot easier to just cut this out and slip a new one in than to remove it and replace the whole light or even just the sensor. See the crumpling and distortion? It's not working well with that lens sunbaked like that. |

If you know anyone in the alarm / security buis. , the indoor motion sensors use the same material . Usually the indoor sensors go bad but the lens is in excellent condition.

I had one that the lens busted on and I figured WTH and left it that way for years.
its only plastic and doesnt do a great job of sealing anyway
