Question 71 T/A Stripe Locations

I am ready to put the stripes on my white 71 T/A but need to find out exactly where the stripes are to start and stop. Also the fender decal placement. I used to have a copy of the original GM blueprints for the placement but cant find it. Does anybody have a PDF of those blueprints? Thanks in advance. Walt.

Hi Bruce, thanks for the plug!

Hi Poncho Walt, feel free to send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a .pdf of the stripe locations from the assembly manual.

In addition to the link Bruce provided, here's another link to peruse before you put your stripes on:

http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=666571

If you don't mind me asking, who's stripes are you planning to install and when/where did you purchase them?

Just curious

Here's the sheets GM supplied with their decals. I found these while digging thru some other paperwork on my 72 TA. Hopefully they are legible.

Thanks for all of the info guy's. I hope they go on good. I don't even remember where I bought them from. Some of the links have me worried about the quality. I guess I'll find out soon. Walt.

Walt, what kind of car do you have or want? If you are ok after all the work to install an inferior and incorrect strip then install away. Knowing what I know I would give Greg at transamstripes.net a call and see what he can do for you.
