Were you able to open the door on your TA over the top of the trailer fender to use the escape door? Was wondering what the height is to the top of the inner trailer fenders and the bottom of the escape door? It looks like the trailer might have a raised floor, is that right? Thanks |

Yes I was able to open the door. I had the trailer built with a raised floor just for that reason. The bottom of the door on my T/A is at 10". It clears the opening on the trailer by about an inch. My car sits at a pretty stock height. I don't think it would work if you had a canyon carver type car unless you had 2"x12" runners to drive the car up onto as a lot of people do.

Bob, that thing still looks new! You must store it indoors. Upgrading?
