Default Under The Covers - stock height

Busy choosing parts for a 400ci rebuild for my Firebird.
I want to keep the mill "simple looking", not necessarily 100% factory correct, just simple.
I definitely want stock height valve covers & I need some advise on what can & cannot fit under them.

I plan on using comp #1451 1.5 roller tip rockers with ARP #135-7101 BB Chevy rocker studs (7/16 & 1.75" long). Valve spring install height will be just at 1.600" with stock length Ferrea valves.

Will I get away with these?
Will I be able to use polylocks at all?
The ARP polylocks #300-8242 are 1.2" length, are there shorter ones that'll work?

Thanks

Thick gaskets (5/16") will allow most anything suitable for a street car to fit under stock valve covers.

I run stock height covers with 1.5 roller rockers and stock length Ferrea valves and don't need a thicker gasket.

6X-4s 5.09 valves(so a little longer) and HS rockers with stock repop chrome valve covers no problems.

Lift wont be an issue for me with 1.5 rockers & a 068 cam, so maybe stock gaskets now & thicker ones when I decide to change to 1.65 rockers?? Thanks for the part#

I was told by a dealer that the 1.900" rocker studs are too long for stock covers & that polylocks also wouldnt work, hence my questions. Dont all HS roller rockers come with polylocks? So if they work im sure I can use polylocks with comp roller tips?

Thanks for the advice
