Default Rhodes V-Max settings

Hey, Just doing some thinking and wondered if anyone on here has tried setting V-Max lifters different between intake and exhaust. For example setting the intake at .025 and like .010 for the exhaust. Just curious???

Old post from J. Hand 2006, from the "Street" section archives...
"The new lifters do clearly idle smoother with more vacuum at the .030" setting Rhoads suggest. They are also a bit noisier at idle, but that would be expected for the setting.

The biggest difference in feel is mid range - the car really pulls harder, and that can be seen by the MPH in both 1//8 and 1/4. We picked up about 1 MPH. The 60' numbers stayed essentially the same, but that is more a function of the converter then the lifters. There is no doubt the engine is also stronger at lower RPM. And I will always trade a bit of clicking for better performance!"

Observation, generally due to heat expansion the exhaust valve requires a slightly larger lash. JD
