Default 66 GTO exhaust manifold

Need to replace the exhaust manifold on my 66 389
PY & Ames only offer replacement for the 67 Ram Air...
Has anyone had any issues using this as a replacemnt on 66

I have 67 Ram Air reproduction exhaust manifolds on my 66 GTO right now. Fit is just fine.

Honestly I have never had the car on the road yet. Stalled restoration very near completion. Practically a crime..... so I cannot say about leaks but the fitment is good.

Default 66 GTO Exhaust Manifold

I'm in the same situation... just finishing up on frame and powertrain, may be a few more months before I get the body finished and back on the frame.
I may try and mount the rad support and rad and break the engine in.
I'll let you know what happens...
John
