Default Accent Stripes

I have a '73 Ventura that is not a Sprint, but came with accent stripes. Does anyone have any pictures of what these non Sprint stripes looked like and the color combinations that were used. My Ventura Brewster green, and I believe it came with a lime green color stripe. I don't know the official color name for the stripe or what it looked like, but I would like to add it back to the car.

I've checked over there and on cardomain. I'm not sure if it was a rare option or if everyone removes the stripes but I can't seem to find and good pictures of it. I'm not even sure if it was a decal or paint.

My understanding is the stripes on the non Sprint cars were the same as the Sprint cars without the Sprint lettering in side the stripe on the rear quarter for '73. Your Brewster Ventura should have had stripes that match my Avatar in color. A medium yellow and light green color combination for the stripe.

Thanks Post. Are those original?

Can someone post of picture of a original '73 non Sprint car with the stripes.

When I look at the '73 accessory catalog posted by UPC-WU2 (thanks by the way) it says it is for Sprint cars only and doesn't list an option for non Sprint cars. In the '74 catalog it says the Sprint and non Sprint cars use the same stripes but the Sprint cars have the lettering.

I've got the original GM parts book somewhere in my garage that may have illustrations...I'll take a look over the weekend and see if it has anything that would help you out.

That '73 has the same stripes as the '74 non sprint car, but the blue '73 I posted earlier only has the top stripe. I wonder if the late '73 cars got the '74 stripes.

I wonder if that Ventura has the original paint? That pin stripe almost looks added, it looks way too short on the fender.

I got lucky and had a picture of my car from the '90s with the original stripe still intact. I am still debating if I want to add it back. The car is currently still brewster green, but without the stripe and Rally IIs in place of the hubcapped wheels.
