$7,100 with two hours to go - almost a parts price.

Interesting that there is no wheel option. So it came with dog dish hubcaps?

Interesting. I saw this a week ago or so and wondered why the seller didn't include a disclaimer...: "Make sure your marriage is on solid ground before bidding"..... WOW! For over 10 GRAND! I would have no idea where to start with this one. I wish the new owner good luck! Mike

Never say never... silly of my to say I am done in this tread.. but I was really on my way to make the seller an offer on it and when I realized that it was not what I thought it would be it was like being punched in the face..

Here is what the seller said :

" I will tell you I have 22K in the car and have pretty much guessed I will take a loss. I'd be real happy at 15K but willing to talk."

I would have paid 10 K with a smile, and would easy pay 4-5 K more to get it if I had to...

But for a VIN plate with matching engine block ? do not think so, I could maybe have been able to flip it here in Norway as one of six, but to live with it and face the buyer later ?? Nope, I am not that person.

That you where outbid is luck Roar

Maybe, where do you live ?

I was pretty active around Oslo in the 90s but have stayed low in the amcar community for the last 12-13 years, just doing my own stuff.

Interesting, the previous auction started at 2500.00 and now it's starting at 9500.00 with a buy it now of 10,000. Guess he got excited about the final price from the previous sale... I love reading all the info on these cars that have a "history"
