I doubt this driver loses his job although he may get a few days off w/o pay. Time is money and I'm sure the drivers are instructed to make quick "drops" (pun intended!) & get on to the next delivery.

There was a segment on the local news channel playing that & a half dozen other videos where other Fed Ex ~ UPS drivers were throwing packages in and out of their trucks. Makes you think twice about how you package your rare & fragile parts to ship!

The customer was home at the time, The customer got a new monitor already from Fed Ex.
The "employee" wasnt...... The Fed Ex "home delivery" folks all own their own business.
I am sure he is still running his route, but I am not sure of FED EX ability to discipline. Its possible that could break a contract he has though.
This was in So Cal.

Didnt know ups and fedex workers were that disgruntled lol Knowing from a friend of mine at fed ex depending on how long hes been there with the company. mostly own their own routes. If he still has a job and a route then he can pretty much hire or split his route to another person if he has days off unpaid from what i know of fedex. I think it was totally wrong what he did and Makes me think twice about what i ship through them.

UPS has managers whose SOLE JOB is to make sure people are wearing the "correct" footware.
