We have a cat and dog. Both black. Mickey Mouser and Poncho. The cat was supposed to be an indoor cat. But it turns out he loves to go for walks around the yard on his leash. Neighbors get a kick out of it. He also helps my Wife on the computer too.

Pictures are from a couple years ago. He was a kitten then. The first picture is them in front of what my Wife calls "Pet TV." They love to watch the squirrels and birds at the feeders in the front yard.

True. That's the strangest looking animal I've seen recently. Bizarre eyes.

Here's the cat I didn't want. I gave him away once when he was a kitten and the woman lost her mind in sorrow. We had to go get him. He thinks I'm the greatest thing outside of walking on a leash outside.
Check out the swollen knot on his forehead in the profile where he stuck his head in a yellow jacket hole. I had him on a leash and it was like I was landing a Marlin breaking the surface. He hit the end of the leash twice before I knew what happened. the yellow jacket dead centered him between the eyes.
I've got a video of him scaling the brick chimney in the living room to entertain himself. You should hear the sound of claws tearing at brick.

Here is one of the wifes cat. You know what they say. If you don't like cats they tend to since that. This cat must know me well enough. Man does he hang around me all of the time. Don't get me wrong I love animals. But holly crap. I can't get cats to leave me alone. lol You got to give him credit. He live with all of us and two large dogs. He can hold his own with the dogs. He boxes with the female dog.

Poor kitty! Glad she's going to be ok. Had this happen to the cat we had when I was a kid... while cruising down the freeway the back window of our wagon had got rolled down somehow and out he went! He tumbled and rolled and then darted off to the side of the road just like you described. He was fine afterwards. He was a Persian which probably helped a lot... lots of fluff!

Worst thing you can do if a cats on the hood is to scare it off....you walk up and gently lift it off...unless you like cat versions of burnouts across your hood....

We originally were taking care of an "outside" mom cat and her two small kittens.

The "Dad" cat came along and took the larger of the two kittens on an adventure with him and we have not seen either since.

The "Mom" cat was killed two years ago by coyotes who lived on a golf course a couple of miles away. The kitten barely escaped (without injury). The city eventually trapped all of the coyotes but in the mean time the kitten came inside as a house cat.

Now the cat is fully grown and it an "in-out" cat. In the summer, out for a couple of hours and inside to sleep on the different couches for 4-8 hours during the day, then back out again. Sometimes out the whole day unless rainy day or cold day. Then inside more.

In the winters, inside except to stretch his legs. Knows how to use a litter box but prefers the outdoors and some exercise.

Sorry to hear about your cat's injury.

Thats why my cars don't have car covers on them..... kitty prints are better than claw scratches IMO

ya 71GP, that is my kind of cat, looks like a cool Fat Cat kind of lady. I am stuck with a bitchy elderly female cat that claws me when she is mad. It is some kind of karma thing.

She is a pretty cool cat.... she's one of those that follows you around and talks to you.... I would've hated to lose her. We lost(she died) our other indoor cat last April....

Nice portrait. I have seen that expression on some women's faces.

Indyta, etc.
Those are the weirdest markings I've ever seen! Looks like he has a mustache UNDER his chin.

Several years ago took the usual 10+ mile ride to church Sunday AM. When we stepped out of the van, heard a "meow". Finally I popped the hood to find the wife's cat Tasia really freaked out. Dont understand how the darn thing survived 60+ mph ride under the hood for about 15 minutes but she managed just fine.
