Love the color. I know some people hate it, but I love it.

I first saw that car in 1988 - driver condition with original paint interior & top then - would have left it that way.

Saw it on TV yesterday, looks very impressive.I will be down there Saturday to check it out in person I wonder what the reserve may be? The legendary site may still have 50 photos of it. Love that color too.

Hate the color (lol - our votes "cancel out"). I'm glad my dad drove black cars.
But - as one of my wise friends once said: "...It'd be a helluva world if we all loved the same woman". K

Years ago I drove to NY to purchase a 70 judge ragtop, It got sold out from under me in the hour it took for me to get there, the guy felt bad so he takes me out back and says what about this one? So unless there is another limekist green , black gut numbers matching auto I saw this car in a million pieces in NY, outside getting rained on /in . I said let me think about it for a day, because I really wanted the 70, PHS was produced and it was one of the 17. So I call him back and say OK AND OFFERED HIS FULL PRICE, to buy it but he raised the price on me in a matter of a day, so no dice
70 judge rag 4 speed black ac car fresh paint and nicely restored 55k was buy price in DA back was 71 judge convert completely and fully dissasembled 50k offer to sell to me then 24 hours later it turns in 75 k to buy. addios muchacho at the time. Mistake I know Last edited by 70ram4; 10-08-2011 at 04:32 AM. |

Bid to $215K on the block, later heard it went for $240 cannot verify. I have a nice 2 minute video of it after the sale, would it violate mecum rules to show it publicly? Lots of really nice pontiacs there also.

The Mecum site listed it as selling for $217,300. The commentators on the broadcast also mentioned this number.

Still a solid number for a great car, that number probably doesn't include the Mecum buyers fee.
