interesting, and not cheap, LOL

but i have my doubts on that sign being 60s era vintage.

that script screams early 80s.

After a few years in the sign business I learned one thing, old used neon = fire hazzard.
For 1,200+ the cost of refurbishing the old electrics you could have a sign shop
create a brand new safe set of channel letters with Leds in it.

Those are defintely 1980s & up letters.

That would look way cool lite up in the back yard about a 100' from the BBQ/fish pond area.

Not neon either.

Taken down from dealers most recent. Sellers asking big bucks, but problem was how many people can use large modern singage like this?

Seen them sell for $400.....a set. Have seen dozens of sets for sale.

I'm not positive, but I think the font used in that Pontiac sign is from the late 1980's, maybe 1990's and up. The slight curve in the letters, the gaps in the "P" and "A", it looks like it's from the computer era.

I think this is the same font used on this dealership sign.

I think I called this guy selling this sign if hes East of Baltimore....about seven months back when he wanted crazy money like $3,200 for these letters. I think he had the matching Arrow sign then too.

Quite a few sets of these around picked up by speculators who quickly found they were not worth much to many people.

Here is an owner taking down signage in 2010, by end of MAY I think the deal with GM had them following.
