Default 1969 Catalina Wagon (9 Passenger)

1969 Catalina station wagon, 400/2bbl, TH400, PS,PB,AC, roof rack, power back window. 98+K miles on the clock... New shocks, new starter, new alternator.

Interior is good, except for the drivers side of the front seat. 2nd and 3rd seats are in great shape. Dash is good. Carpet is removed in the front and floors are solid. Same for the cargo/foot area in the back. Spare tire area has some rust at the bottom and the tailgate has rust in the bottom. Frame is solid.

Looks like a repaint, with a few bubbles showing up through at the rear behind the wheels and a couple small spots on the hood. Small dent on the drivers side front fender.

$2700 OBO (Possible trade for '65/66 Bonneville or Cat 9 pass wagon)

Thanks. She cleaned up pretty well. She's just a few years too young for my taste. (The exception being something like yours that is!) When are we going to get an update on your ride Darren?

Well, after a month of promises, e-mails, and stories, the interested party apparently had something 'come up'. So the wagon is back up for sale. Let me know if anybody has any questions.

That's a great looking car. Too bad you do not like the 69s, they are much better is many ways. I'd be interested but, already have 3. Looks like Chrystal Turquiose? Very pretty. Hope you find the right home for it.

Did you sell the car? A friend of mine in West Palm called me yesterday and basically described your car to me. Said he saw a guy driving it through North Palm somewhere. I'm thinking about it if not, I'd like to have a good wagon for a shop car.

The car was still in my driveway this morning, so the one in West Palm must be another one....

We're having a garage sale this weekend (Fri/Sat) and I had a guy stop by and inquire about it, but I'm still at work. Said he'd be back on Saturday to talk it over. Sounds interested, but I'm not going to believe it till I've got something in my hands. I just went through that with someone else and that's why I had the 'sale pending'.

Steve, I agree that by '69 they had definitely made some improvements, but I just really like the sharp lines of the '65/'66. You don't have an excess of those lying around do you?

Teej -
You're just in the wrong part of the world! I like the color and style. And, price.

That's the way it works. Find me a '66 Bonneville wagon out there in the desert and we'll meet outside of Dallas and swap!

I thought that one was blue? I remember that car. Guy also owned a '57ish Lincoln at one time, maybe still does. Jimmy said the one he saw was green/white top.

Bump this back up... Anybody remotely interested? I'm tired of shuffling cars.
