He made one mistake about the engine.. The Astro-Jet is just a calling name for the Chevy big-blocks in Candadian cars; 396, 400 and 427. Nothing to do with Pontiac. We see them pretty often here in Canada.

But... We dont see a lot of CDN Pontiac with factory 427 Chevy big blocks. Either they have been converted to pure Poncho, or they use the small blocks Chevies.

Like seller says, probably harder to find than RA or SD cars, but IMO, not as desirable.. Demand for pure Canadian Pontiacs is low, and that orange block under the hood in car shows just make people look elsewhere. Too bad, those big blocks are powerhouses.

Nice car! Needs some work..

Nice car and rare too, but I'd be scared of the underside. I bet the whole frame is toast, and I sure wouldn't drive it very far just from what I see. Whoever buys it will have to sink a bunch of money in it.

I think those Canadian cars uses the X-frame.. A donor car, or frame, will be hard to find.... Fixing a really rusted frame is a mess...

Rare indeed, I would NOT drive that as I restore it.

I be cautious loading it on the trailer.

Neat peice but a lot of work. Worth building tho IMO. It really needs to be a 4spd in it's next life.

Id say the same thing. One pic show the frame almost seperated.

Must be that salt air in Florida and it's excursions to the beach for a "salt" bath. I'm surprised the rest of the car isn't in the same shape as the frame. But I guess when you forget to hose down the underside of a car when you give it a bath in Florida near salt water, the results would be the same.
