What is this in the ebay ad: "to place a bid you must provide a valid credit card...you won't be charged"??? I hope they are referring to the eBay policy and not something the seller thought up. Because that has scam written all over it.

Here is another 73 automatic red/blk thats already in the six figures. Lots of things wrong for top dollar car. But looks pretty!

wouldn't kick it out of my garage, but i would have to lower it.not really into the 4x4 look on a TA.after seeing Norwood's at the Nat's,that is a good look, just the right stance.

That car was at Norwalk a few weeks ago and I was very surprised that it took second place, in my opinion it was lucky to place at all and could have easily been 5th or 6th in class. I can't believe their quote from the ad:

"Now about that second place trophy. While second place at the national level is nothing to scoff at, we've grown accustomed to more here at Best of Show. It's in our name, after all. The car that beat this particular Trans Am was also a fresh restoration a 5-year effort that was truly spectacular in every way and certainly one of the nicest cars we've ever seen, no question about that. However, when we talked to the judges after the show to find out what we could correct to make sure this car is at the top of its class next time, we received this puzzling answer: "You should have chromed out the engine and made everything underneath shinier," (yes, we actually have a video of a judge saying this)."

Funny, Joe's car didn't have any chrome on it and it won! I can’t believe a judge in a stock class would make such a statement! Their car had several things wrong and was not well presented. Seems like they thought they could just put it out there and it would win. Next time they should try cleaning the tires and detailing the engine and interior better!

Nice car and I'm sure they have a ton on money in it even though there are several things incorrect. I hear it was a real mess when they got it.

Hey Brew, where are those pictures from Norwalk and Tipp?

Default Anyone see this one on C-List?

Looks like an "SD-455" on the shaker.

http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/1945764272.html

I can't make out any details on the engine to see if it really is a SD car.

Anyone want to go look?

Later-

SD Formula up for sale at SW Corvettes. I've seen this car a couple of times over the years. Looks like he freshened it up a bit since the last time it was for sale:

There's also a Lucy Blue TA in the garage.

I love this color combo and the car does look great. Hope it finds a new home in the area so we get to see it once in a while.

To me......the formy is just not as popular. If someone is willing to fork over that much coin for a Formy, why not spend a few thousand more and get the T/A.
I don't think the market is tough in regards to ones disposible income and the rare cars that are being snapped up by those with it.
I've been watching B-J and there's no shortage of cash in that crowd.

Yes,there is no shortage of cash for some,but a lot of it is "stupid" cash,cause they can,like 30+k for a 79 4spd black 301 car with 8k miles,ok so it's 8k mi.,but for a 301car?????.and I don't believe it was a SE either..
The rare W72,RAIII 4spd,HO,SD, cars will bring justified money, but neutered Pontiacs with low miles and nice paint.....too many Benjamins and not enough brain cells...
