Default Jim Hand's book, two versions ?

I was going to order the "MAX PERFORMANCE PONTIAC V-8" book and the place has two different order #'s and a different price, has there been new run with up-dates or something ? I'll order the newer one if that's the case.

Hi
Can you post where you were seeing two different listings? Was it on the PY website?
PY's part number for this book is RPL28A and the price is $20.00
As far as we are aware, there has only been one release of this book.

Steve

Same book, different color cover. CarTech recently changed the cover to a different color, but the contents are the same from the second printing on. The first smaller printing had a few normal writing/printing errors that were corrected in the second and later printings. And there is no indication on the book of which printing.

I was wondering the same thing.

I started reading the book Monday ( I already owned) which is a 2004 copyright and thought I had seen a second versions. My copy: ISBN 1-884089-67-4

I bought a 71 Lemans wagon recently, was kicking around some ideas, and thought: "what better source"....LOL

Any plans for a new book, Jim?

Its really an interesting book for Pontiac history/evoultion and parts, even if you are not building/racing anything.

IMHO; those and Pete McArthy's books should all be standard fare for any real Pontiac-oholic's book shelf.

I, for one, have them all!

Same here, plus HO Racings books from the late 70's early 80's.read them so often that had to replace all of them at least once.
