2000 Grand Prix Turbo GTP won't start.
OK guys my buddy's son is going to college well his 2000 GP GTP turbo sometimes turns on just fine then sometimes it won't turn on at all when it's messing up you rev it up to 4000K rpm's and it runs good but once you let go of the gas pedal it starts to miss now some guys at the auto parts store is saying it's the crank sensor but no codes are coming up. Can you guys help us out? Also does it have a timing chain or timing belt?
Thanks! RJ PS-I'm thinking maybe the fuel pump might be shelling out what is the pressure suppose to be at? |

Might want to go over to clubgp.com and see if someone there can help. Lots of good late model GP gurus there.

Should be a timing chain. Is the check engine light on?

OK guys he got it going what he did is he disconnected the plug to the fuel pump he sprayed it with some cleaner and so far so good. This car has a panel in the trunk so one can get to the connection/fuel pump so I hope this might help others.
Thanks guys! RJ |
