Default Torque Plates

I know his has been posted a thousand times before but I am ready to take my short block to the machine shop and am in need of a torque plate. I am from Chattanooga, Tennessee and have a local shop that is interested in doing the work, but of course no one in town has a torque plate for a Pontiac.

So anybody have one they want to loan? I thought about going to Butler as that is a fairly close drive from me but they quoted me approximately double what my local shop did, as well as trying to sell me additional work I don't want.

What about shops in Atlanta? That wouldn't be that far of a drive for me; anybody have someone they can recommend?

Sincerely,
James Baker

Mondello in Crossville, Tn. has Pontiac Torque plates, he also has a state of the art machining center.

Thats good to know Calvin. Might be the only shop outside of Butlers that has them in TN. No one in Nashville I'm aware of and for certain not Murfreesboro.

They have been doing my machine work for 15 years and are racers themselves. Moved to a new place a few years ago.

Allpontiac will loan you a torque plate for free. You just pay the shipping UPS both ways. All we asked is to leave a deposit that when returned we will credit back to your credit card.
