Name him 'Stay'.

"Come here, Stay, Come here, Stay"

My BIL has an Australian Sheppard, smart dog with a great demeanor. Excellent with kids. You'll need a lot of room to let him run.

I've always called those dogs, spare-carpet dogs. Because their coat looks like someone sewed together pieces of left over carpet.

Nice lookin' dog.

Reminds me of a dog I knew as a kid. His name was Pal.

No ones mentioned Deefer....D for Dog.....maybe not?

Tying in with Tom V and Ogre, Zac, short for ANZAC?

Aussie, or Ozzie, either spelling.

I named my kitten Poncho..... and he actually comes when I call him. We had a German Shepard named Poncho when I was a kid and that was before I knew about Pontiacs...

I'd name him "Overdrive" because dogs like that stay in fifth gear, they never stop.

How about Wangers? Guaranteed conversation starter from non-Pontiac people.

Actually, I like the previous suggestion of Muncie.

Dave if you got kids -"Hank" after the Hank the Cow Dog series of books. Mine really liked those books.

My son is waiting for a litter of Blue Heeler pups near him to get his first dog. Not sure if a puppy is good for a new engineer and an apartment but he's determined.

Bandit fits his face... I've always named a dog based on one of the 1st things you noticed about him/her. Here is a pic of one of our Aussie's... "Mouse" chasing the spray from a hose. He is named Mouse because he actually squeaks when he barks... drives all the other dogs in the 'hood crazy !! Aussies are fast and VERY SMART! Have fun with him !!

RJ that is a great looking dog you have!

The kids found a picture of a Kodiak bear and said the puppy looks just like it. (He does from the side)
So, Kody is the name as much as I tried for a Pontiac related name.

I've never seen a puppy that plays with water this much. He'll stick his front feet in the water bowl and splash until all the water is either on him, or the floor. The he chases the towel as I try to clean up after him...

Had I been a Chrysler fan I could have named him "Recall"...

If I'd known about that water thing, I would have suggested "Puddles".
