Default Let's talk motor mounts

I bought a set of ebay motor mounts and I'm not sure they are right. The engine sits in there differently and now things are rubbing. Has anyone had trouble with motor mounts ? Has anyone found a brand that fits like the oem ones do ?

The engine is off set on 1st gens. Not sure if that would cause your current problem.
Needed one years ago and had to tell the parts guy give me one for a 72-74 Ventura cause he couldnt find a listing for 67-69 FB.

Bought mine a NAPA, but haven't had time to put them in yet. I heard even Mighty mounts are cheapening up these days !

I found the mounts for my 69 at Carquest. Both sides take the same mount.

FWIW, I am running Mity Mounts, they have been fine, I've heard that the quality has declined but they have worked without a hitch. No interference problems, I run power steering, 4 speed and Doug's headers, nothing hits.
