Default Opinion on new 65/66 trunk floors

Hey

I bought the new stamped trunk floor from Classic2Current. Price was good but don't expect too much. Metal thickness is good and it comes in two pieces with an over lap down the middle. No roll down where they hit the wheel housings, just flat.I think theres extra metal in that area so you can cut and roll it yourself. Stamping is not the same as original although it does follow the same pattern pretty much. Most of the indents are a narrow V instead of the wider flat channel stamp. Some other stamps are kinda different too. Kick ups front and back are sorta funky and not very long either.Still ,it looks like it will work and I'm gratefull someone finally made them.Plus, for two hundred bucks I didn't expect them to be perfect copies. Gotta be better then migging together rusty puzzle pieces from other floors, like I do now. I'll post again when I install the one I got and let ya know how it works out. Anyone do one yet ??

Default Trunk Floors

No Mike. I'm pretty sure these came along a short time after. Saw something on this site suggesting the ones from Sweden were 600 bucks plus shipping.I'm not sure.Would be nice to talk to someone who's bought them.

good feedback - please keep this thread alive. Always good to get a candid product review...but be sure to contact the mfr first before ripping into him if you have a gripe...

Keep me posted.

Would like to replace the fiberglass patched one in mine. For 200 that would be more affordable.

Yeah,I did hesitate about posting an opinion on the floors but Ya'll have helped me on everything I asked.Figured it was the least I could do.I've got no beef with ClassictoCurrent and like I said,I'm happy someone stepped up with these panels. If its not a show car these should work fine. Maybe they will even tweek them a bit as they get some feed back. Haven't heard from anyone yet who bought the ones from Sweden.Someone must have bought them.

Now all we need is the rear glass to deck lid panel for the 65/66 GPs and wer'e golden!

Hi,
I've bought a trunk floor made here in Sweden.
Quality is good and it has correct stamping.
I give you a couple of pics from the garage.

Stamping looks far more accurate on the Swedish version.Would be the way to go on a high end car. Can you give us a contact for the producer ? Are they looking at the GPs and Cats with the shorter panels ? What was the price on the Bonny kit ?

Thanks
Bob
