68 Firebird 400
I am selling my Firebird. I have had it for about 13 years and with my hetic schedule with the kids....it's time for it to go. Here are a couple of links it below. The best it ran with the hydraulic cam was 11.637 at 115.54. It weighs ~ 3,580 (if I remember right). The oil pick up fell off at the beginning of 08. I pulled the motor and check the bearings. All were fine except the #1 had a line in the crank. I had the crank turned to twenty and the motor has sat in front of the car since. I have the bearings; but, never had time to put it back together. I order a custom solid roller from Butler with the correct springs/retainers/keepers. I will list part numbers later. It was in the 250/260 range at 112. I will keep adding the parts as I go through the car. It has been a long time since I have touched it. I am asking $10k.

Its a very nice looking car. How is the body on it? Any rust issues? Is the YT engine original to the car?

Body is very solid. No rust issues. Yes, the car has the original motor and transmission.

I hope he doesn't wanna trade.lol. That is a real nice tempest, but I have just been tryin to get a hold of this guy with PM's and haven't heard anything as I am interested in it. Hopefully he gets back to me.
