Default mama says, or pwoped

She wouldnt let me get the 58 chieftain. Now found a 65 Buick Wildcat, 4dr no post. She still says no lessen I be rid of another car or 2. She will not let me send her buick park ave down the road so it would have to another.

RATS!

She loves Buicks, 4 doors, and truncks. Covers those bases.

Anyway, got kid talked into lettin me keep it at house for a bit. At least till things cool off. Gettin it fer $500. Runs, got a 455 in it tho, not the 425 but still same block. Body fair, better thaN my Bonnie was when I got it tho. Interior in good shape also. Car had always been in shed or, like now, under a roof.

I still think it a cool car for cruisin. Wildcat was the Buick highper cars back then.

Will try to post some pics of before and during redo. Learned alot doing my Bonnie. But, it is a never finnished car. Can learn more with this one.

If you buy it and want another one I can hook you up with a rolling parts car.

Are you sure it's a 455 and not a 445 Nailhead?

Those are nice cars that run well.

There's no such thing as a 445, that was the torque on the 425.

445 was the designation on the breather.

A 455 will not bolt up to a nailhead bellhousing.

distributor is in the front, it is a transplant engine.

This is from the man that has it now, he bought on a farm auction at a neighbors. He had bought it new in 64, fall. They did know each other, but original owner had passed. Jerry got it to restore, but his tractors take up his time.

445 was the torque on the 401 nailheads "Wildcat 445." The Wildcat 465 was the 425 Nailhead.

Buick had some wicked big blocks. The 430s and 455s were both nasty. Got any pics?
