Default March Meet Live Video !!!

http://www.bangshift.com/blog/Live-V...o-Raceway.html

Watching it now, and they're running the Top Fuel diggers, which brought to mind Steve Barcak and a question. Did he go this year and make a qualifying attempt?

It's heads up on an index, Jack...trust me, if you were there you'd love it. So much old school stuff racing heads up, you'd probably get a stiffy for the first time in years without help from a little blue pill.

Oxymoron...

We do agree on some things- I would love to be there! But I would even more have liked to have been at the '59 event... or '60... or '61...
Speaking of fuelers- I just read that Sid Waterman claimed to be the first to try using nitro and nitrous simultaneously. But he didn't say anything about the outcome- anybody remember?

I don't see how adding more oxygen to the mix when the fuel carries its own could be beneficial. Maybe in the old days when the engines were smaller, and the head ports were smaller, and the fuel pumps were smaller, but not with todays combo's.
