Default Help font leaf spring

Help i can't get the front leaf spring to come loose. They turn but nothing happens, arre the clips broke?

yes, the j-nuts can break off and spin. they have to be cut off. the pockets and new j-nuts are pretty cheap and really should be replaced, anyway.

If you have an impact wrench,you can stick a screwdriver,brake adjustment tool,ect. through the frame to prevent it from spinning up top,and keep giving it short bursts with the impact. Or cut it off like suggested above.

I wound up just grinding the heads off the bolts when that happened to me.
