Progress
I finally broke enough stuff on my Power Wagon to realize it's going to take a lot more work before it's safe, so I put it aside for now. I got to spend 2 full days workin on the Star Chief.
I got the master cylinder mounted up and I got all the hoses mounted. I got the rear lines finished up to the MC and part of the front ones. I need another fitting and one more stick of tubing to finish and then the brakes will be all new and ready to go. I messed around with the clutch some more. I still can't get it to engage all the way. Screw it, the tranny is coming back out and I'm going to install a hydraulic throw out bearing. I'm tired of messing with it. It engages almost all the way and then you can see the transmission scoot over just a tad like something is binding so it's pushing the tranny towards the passenger side. I got some more of the wiring cleaned up. I really need to spend a full day straightening everything out and making it look better and hopefully prevent a fire. I got my posi 3.42 3rd member all put together. I'm going to clean it up and throw it in there sometime in the next week or so. As soon as I get the money for the hydraulic throw out bearing, I'll pull that tranny and throw that bitch in there. Hopefully the brakes will be done by then and I can drive it around the block...for the first time EVER. I'm excited
