Smile More info on car....

Build date 5th week Nov. 1963 at the Pontiac Plant. 5N on fire wall tag. Have original window sticker and dealer invoice from Boomershine Pontiac, Atlanta Ga. Driveline is #'s matching and motor is original and was checked by Mr. Jim Taylor of Jim Taylor Engine Service( 908-213-3456) that it has never been rebuilt.Car has 69,750 miles at this time.Mr. Taylor has also done some work on the car the past few years and have all receipts. He also inspected the vin and firewall tags as being original and never tampered with. The last award the car won was at the 2008 GTO East Coast Regionals in the 64-67 GTO Mod class first place.Car was chosen by GTO owners, not by popular vote. Car was frame on restored almost 20 years ago and has held up well. Car has some very minor mods for the Factory Appearing Drags Stock class and has made about 15 runs in the last 5 years.Best time was 14.7 at 100 mph shifting at 4,750 rpm with street tires.Any mods made can easily by put back to stock. All spare parts and anything else I have for the car go with the sale. Thanks for reading.

That car looks awfully familiar. When I saw that it came from Boomershine, that made me think even more that it's the car I'm thinking of.
If it's the car I'm thinking of, it's a real beauty....and even if it's not the car I'm thinking of!

I bought the car from a guy in Duluth, GA about two years ago. He bought it from Dennis Rosenthal about 5 years before that. Dennis did get it from a local guy around there. It had spinner hub caps on it when I got it.

Greg,i was thinking the same thing.I have always love that '64 from Newnan.GETRIDAONE,you have a got a great car.Anne's GTO you have a beautiful GTO,do you know when that car left Georgia. There were a couple really nice '64 GTO around back in the 80's and 90's.
Boomershine use to have some factory drag cars also back in the 60's,they also had some cars they sponsor in nascar.Boomershine was the "Royal Pontiac" of the south.

Smile This car is no longer for sale.

I have decided to keep the car. I have owned the car for 10 years and never had any major problems and it starts every time. It was also paid for a long time ago. I have 2 more Grand children Due in May and I would rather spend time with them and give up the car. After all,This is the car they wrote the song about. So I will leave it in the garage and take car if it. Maybe give it to kids? It's in great condition +2. I thought someone else might enjoy it.I guess people don't want to pay for quality anymore.Thanks.
