'68 Catalina Ventura 4dr HT
Well I'd just as soon keep this as sell it but due to my GTO project I'm going to offer it for sale to possibly free up some time/space.
This is an original Oregon car with the original plates. I haven't checked it out but I'd bet the dealer plate trim is where the car sold new. This is a really solid rig with very few alterations from stock, I can't think of anything that's been changed except the standard service items. The one exception to that is new dual exhaust that I just had put on. The body and frame of this car are virtually rust free. There are some very minor pin holes in the trunk from rear window seal leakage but nothing scary at all. The body has a few dings and dents but easy stuff to fix. The paint is original Meridian Turquoise but appears to have some touch up work on the hood yet there are no sings of accident history. The odo shows about 20k miles so 120k is the mileage. Stock 400 runs exceptional with no noises and sports the factory 2bbl. The engine was recently tuned by a local Pontiac guru with new points, carb kit, filters, etc. Interior is Black and all oringal and in superb shape only needing minor sticthing repair in two small areas. No tears or rips etc. Dash is mint. Non AC car. Tires are new. New dual exhaust as I mentioned that sounds great. A real solid driver all around. Transmission very solid. All glass is excellent. All electronics work with the exception of the fuel guage. Stock AM radio even works. Chrome in nice shape. Suspension is showing its age. If I was to get serious about the car I'd go through and put in new Moog bushings, new springs and shocks. Other than that, fix the rear window seal, perform the body work and have the car painted for a really nice big Pontiac cruiser. This car Cruises in style right now but with a little work and 1-2k bucks this thing would really make a sharp car. I even have a '68 GP front hideaway bumper and grill assembly that I bought with the intentions of converting this car to hideaways. It's a direct swap. The hideway assembly could be negotiated for with the sale of the car. You don't see a lot of Pontiacs like this one with the killer color combo in hard top form. Really a cool car for $3,500 Thanks |

Hideaway front
This is and idea of the car with the hideaway conversion.
As mentioned I have the entire Hideaway assembly from a GP just like this one pictured. |

Driving the car the other day I realized the milage is actually showing 50k so more than likely to be 150k.
Still loving this car but am willing to part. If you are interested we should be able to work out a price, I'm not stuck at $3.5. |
