Hope it went to someone that will care for it.
Was out on bike other eve with Mama. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOH! whats that? 2nd gen trans am, look at that price ma. Keep going honey. Damn, gotta stop back tommorow and look tho, OK? Yep you do that. SOLD! May I glance at it? Sure go ahead, interior is shot, but it runs good. He told me. Body looked upper fair, carpet and seats in bad shape, 400 on hood scoup. Didnt look that close but think it was 4 speed. $2500 for a running TA tho has to be a pipe dream. Hope it is for someone.

Yes, there are some good deals out there- but for first time Pontiac owners I would advise you take your time and evaluate your purchase. Don't just buy the first T/A you come across without checking the body and drivetrain first- these cars are over 30 years old and often need rebuilding or restoration. The last thing you want to do is to buy a car you think you're going to be able to drive, only to have it at a shop for months having the engine rebuilt or major rust repaired.
Do your homework and get a feel for what the market price is for the year you want. In this economy there are sellers letting their cars go for alot less than than they would two or three years ago. Geno |

What year? 74+ cars for $2500 aren't out of the ordinary
a 4spd might make it a decent deal, though
