326 to 400 swap
im swapping a 326 to a 400 what will i need for pulleys to make a new style water pump work with my alternator what would be the best year to look for to make it look close to stock .

As I understand it you have a few options-
-Change the timing covers out and run all of the accessory drive from the 326 inclusing waterpump and balancer. -run all the accessory items from 400 -Run the 400 with it's original timing cover and 11 bolt pump, bolt up the brackets and accessories and balancer from the 326, buy a special adapter waterpump pulley from Ram air restorations or All Pontiac. |
