Default Radiator Core Support Bushings

I tryed to install new core support bushings in my 73 Formula today and guess what ?? They did not fit.Coming up from the bottom (core support) the hole is 1 1/4" dia. But the new bushing is 1 7/16" Obviously it won't set in the hole. Is this typical or is it just more paddock Junk !!! The set was only $24.95 and now I know why !!

Bringing this post back. What is the part number for the correct bushing kit? I bought a set from Goodmark and they will not work.

Thanks,
Tom

Here is the NPD catalog page.... I can't find this part in the PY catalog.....

I don't see anything for '73. I assume the others will work, but are not exact. I just need a set that fits well. My support panel is pretty rusted around the mount holes. I am going to make weld some repair rings to the panel once I have the correct bushings.

Thanks,

I found this in the PY catalog:

Can anyone confirm the correct part number? The hole in my support panel is so rotten, I do not know the original hole size.

Thanks,

The one in the picture came from Ames Performance. They were identical to the originals(except for the Made In Taiwan sticker!)

So that would be this one...

Consider this the comprehensive core support bushing thread.....

I will probably order the PY kit. It and the ames kit look very similar.

Thanks,

Not sure, but doesn't look like the Ames kit comes with sleeves.
