Default Gaydosh goes a 6.76...

at 202.61 MPH, with a .989 60'. Great job to Jack on going into the .70's, and getting well over the 200 mark. Tough field at VMP.

We are still cheering for you Jack. See you at Cecil in a few weeks.

Woo hoo! Getting there...slowly he turns...step by step...inch by inch. He's made more progress in the last year than Jim Cunningham has in the last ten...go get 'em, Jack!

Default Making the field?

It is very difficult to make the NHRA field when all of the other teams are spending millions and millions of $$$$$$$$$$ and Jack/John wants/can only spends thousands. Valiant effort but reality is that even though his #s might be the best he has ever run he is still way way off to even getting close to making a field. MPH is horse power, 6MPH is a lot of HP away. HP=MPH=ET=$$$$$$$$$$. That is reality!!!!!

If he can hit the tree and get down the track consistently maybe someone with deep pockets will notice.
Some big money sponsors from overseas are getting in on the action and you know if they can get Johnson away from Schumacher they have unlimited funds. (oil)

Nice post Stallion. I would guess he is looking for sponsors...maybe you want to step up and sponsor him?? Maybe you should try to run P/S.

He has shown that he has potential and dedication within a VERY short period of time. Some guys have not come as far as he has in 10 years. The sponsors will be knocking on his door soon.

Jagtec1. We are all looking for sponsors. My son and I are running Top Sportsman and are also looking for sponsors, that is already difficult for us but don't worry to much we will be running Pro Stock in the near future with the financial backing and that back is close to a $million not just thousands like some guys THINK they can spend. There are a lot of other guys that have payed their dues that still do not have sponsors, their doors will be knocked on first.

David Holmberg, your comment just goes to show how little(NOTHING) you know about Pro Stock. I am sure Jack/John Gaydosh does know. Next time I go to Greg Anderson shop I will call you and you can come down to his shop and see what it takes to run Pro Stock. That is reality!!!!!

Jeff V Pretty much the same answer as for Jagtec1.

It amasses me how some of you guys really do not know anything about Pro Stock and then try to comment about it.

THAT IS THE REALITY OF PRO STOCK. Millions of $$$$$$ NOT thousands!!!!!!

Mo, I do understand how Pro Stock works, and the funds it takes. However, I'm not going to make fun of someone who is trying to live their dream to its fullest.

You're not telling anyone here something they don't already know. But if he doesn't try it how can he ever succeed at it? All it takes is one break, a team to see him doing that well with no help, and give him a ride, or the help needed to make it work. He sure as hell won't get any offers sitting on his couch, or running dog and pony shows...

Grow up and realize that you're not smarter than everyone else...

As the topic starter, I ask to keep this a positive thread. Please no more negativity. Unless you are out there ACTUALLY running P/S, keep your opinions to yourself.

Thanks!

Good job Jack...it will come.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. This is one of the best things I have ever done. It's not easy to do I know I'm under funded. But each time I go I meet new prospects for funding! Right now I have a mule engine you need to walk before you run.I support everybody in what they do and I don't put anybody down in whatever they do to move their self forward in life! Best wish to everyone in their endevers thanks JOHN GAYDOSH

He is right Jack, you should sit at home staring at your walls and maybe someone will knock on your door and offer you sponsorship.......I guess that's how he is going to do it.

Here is a video I took of Jack on Wed. night at MIR. The scoreboard is kind of fuzzy but it reads 6.79

And he scrubbed off a little time when it drifted left off the line.

Scott, I bet you had a ball rubbing elbows with the big boys.
What was the 60 on that pass?
