Default Is T-brake any faster?

I have been running a 10.00 index race. I am having problems going 10.00 in the heat of the summer. Best I can muster is 10.09. I have a t-brake but haven't been useing it. Will I go quiker with the t-brake launching at 3500? I have been foot brakeing at 2000 and cutting .030 lights on a .500 pro tree. Do you thing I will red light leaving on the brake?
Thanks Mike

You may hit the tires harder and improve the 60's and possibly run better ET as well. For certain you will be more consistent launching with the transbrake over footbraking.

You should definately be quicker with the brake. I run 6.50 index on 1/8th mile track. I can footbrake the car in the heat and run high 6.50's. On the brake leaving at 5000 it runs 6.50 dead on. As the track cools the car picks up to 6.30's. Time to work the brake and throttle.

Most people I have talked to have not picked up any ET with a brake. They are able to hit the tree better though. I would like to try it out and see...need to put a brake in first though!

Improves my 60' from 1.53-1.54 to consistant 1.50's.
I leave at 3500rpm off the brake.

I picked up a decent bit off the brake,I was running an interupt relay from the brake to the spray and took the rear bumper cover off my t/a,must have looked cool but it cost me 1000 bucks for a cover and 1 new header.

I've been itching to try my t-brake but I have a worked over eaton posi unit in the back on slicks, and I expect the posi unit would cry uncle on the first launch. Any of you guys running posis, or are all of you on spools (with slicks)?
