Default 70 CONVERTIBLE DOOR WEDGES

on a 70, how do these work, i forgot..my car has been apart for so long....the wedge attached to the body...does anything attach to the door, any pics of both components would be appreciated, i just put differnet doors on my car...so i need to know if i have to drill any holes prior to paint and body work, thanks

There's a small chrome plate that screws to the inner door edge opposite of the brass jamb wedge & the holes for the screws should be punch marked on the door from the factory.

I think the holes for the brass wedge on the door jamb are pre-drilled at the factory.

any idea how big the holes in the doors need to be? i need to drill them, thanks

Use a small drill about 1/8"
