Default radiator needed

my old 4 core is pretty worn out and I'm looking for a new one. I saw the aluminum radiators on ebay but can anyone recommend which one is better or where is a good place to get one? Thanks

Have you considered re-coring your existing radiator?

IMO there´s only Rodney Red you really can trust... One of the most expensive but one of the best, too... No modifications needed for installation.

I had mine recored about 8 years ago and it's leaking in a couple spots. They are small and the radiator shop I took it to said it would be about $90.00 to fix. I thought it would be better to get a new one. I'll check out rodney red. Thanks

I put an Alumitech in this summer. It looks almost exactly like the original and bolted right in. It runs alot cooler, I'm very happy with it.

Ron Genovese has a Desert Cooler for a first gen listed for $125 in the "Performance Parts For Sale" section. Sounds like a good deal.

$90 is a lot cheaper than a new Rodney Red Radiator

I put a custom aluminum rad from Superior Radiator on Ebay into my 55 Pontiac. Very happy with it. they also sell 1's for firebird with dual fans which I'm going to get to replace my 4 core.
