Now you see 'em.....
.....and now you don't. I knew the skirts would draw some negative comments. Like I care. They can go on and off the car with the flick of a lever and a wing nut depending on my mood. Just something I bought to change the look of the car, and to create a little controversy. I'm seriously considering putting airbags on the rear (a bolt-on, no cutting) so I can let it sit down on the suspension stops whenever I want. I already have a cherry GTO hood waiting and a complete new set of repro GTO emblems, soon it will be a phoney GTO ragtop. It will sure be fun to park it at a car show with the skirts on and let all the air out of the rear bags, that should get the attention of the GTO purists. |

my 64 lemans
This is my car when purchased. It is partially cloned but I am going to put it back to a lemans. It is a ho 326 post car with factory a/c, pwr brakes, pwr windows and tilt. Front end is completely off and suspension has been rebuilt. Much to do with shallow pockets, ha ha. That is my 326 and a 428 I am going to build down the road. Gosh I had to crop the crap out of these photos to upload them!

The only good part is you don't have to be in a big rush to get it done this time of year. |

Well these ought to make some of you cringe...at least the last three.
First one is my (former) '65 Lemans on it's way to it's new (now former) owner John (PY: jfmjr1). 455/4sp. Awesome running car. Now owned by another PY member I believe. Second is my '65 project, 4sp and AC. Still sitting where I parked it the day I brought it home. Third is my '64 Lemans convertible the way I found her, parked since 1976. Took two tow trucks to pull her free. Now she's hiding behind a friend's chicken coop waiting to be picked apart. Fourth is my '64 Tempest, also parked since 1970s. This one I might try to save. Fifth is '65 Tempest, 326/3-on-the-tree. Sadly this one got crushed last Spring by a lying-sack-of-crap who offered to store it for me. No big loss really, the control arms were rusted right through and it was basically not going anywhere voluntarily.

Nice flock Matt. Yep, I bought the clone from John, drove it all the way from MD to MA. I was a little apprehensive, but it turned out ok, that car sure is a runner. Thanks for taking care of her the way you did, and know that I will do my best to keep the car nice.

65 Tempest w/ OHC 4 Speed
Here's my 65 Tempest I bought from a woman in South Dakota. I am the 3rd owner. Car is equipped with a straight 6 OHC, originally a 3 on the tree now converted to 4 on the floor.
It's got front & rear sway bars and it handles great. Not many around like this. It gets more looks and attention than my 69 GTO! |

Is a vintage pic ok?
This '64 was an engineering mule from the GM Milford Proving Ground. When we got it (at a discounted price) it still had a 421 installed. (It was actually faster than our '64 GTO B/S racecar... )
