T10 Value
Financial and space limitations require that I get rid of most of my spare parts, one of which is a T-10 I pulled out of a '76 Trans Am (455) I used to have. I don't want to deal with shipping a transmission, so I'm going to list it on the local Craigslist.
I haven't seen a lot of them listed so I don't really know what to ask for it. Any ideas on what the ballpark price range is for one of these?

Low $250 high $700.For a nice clean T10 you should get $500 at least.

Craigslist is good because you can start out high, and then gradually lower the price until emails start coming in or the phone starts ringing. E-bay resellers scan craigslist for bargains. They usually ask "what's the lowest you'll take", and if it's not low enough you never hear back.

Thanks for all the advice. I think I'll list it for $600 and see what happens. I'm not in a big hurry to sell it yet so I can sit on it for a while.
