What a blast!
1st time back racing in 20 yrs.

Made 3 rnds Saturday.
6 rnds Sunday. Finished 17th.

Made a mistake stopping in the pits to check for fuel leak(stuck float earlier), and or plug wire arcing.
Car was slowing down big time last 2 rnds.
When i got up to the lanes, Pro Mod was already running, so the offical directed me into Street Stock.
By the time i realized, it was to late. They ran a S.S. car in my place.
The offical apollogized a few times. Told him it was ok cause the engine maybe hurt.
Plus i had quit sweating. Last couple runs it was dripping off my elbows.
Grabbed a water and took a 10 minute shower asap.
Drank another water while strap'n the car down. Then 2 more waters and Slice's on the way home(5.5 hrs) without having to go.

My daughter helped from Thursday loading till we got home Sunday night.
Wants to get the 68 GTO ready for her to drive next year.
She think'n "Region Warrior Princess"

Guys wearing suits had to be roasted after the round robin.

Made a couple runs Saturday with vents open and the gtr wdw's down.
No track officals said anything.
Did'nt want to push my luck Sunday.
