Online calauators suggest with the current tune it is around 625 hp. These are no way as comprehensive as a performance calualtor.

yea thats what i came up with on the online calulators, so i guess i better tune a 100hp out of it? the last motor i dyno,d made 670 3 years ago and the converter was more off than this one and it ran a 10.48 in decent weather with most of the tuning done before the lifter bore let go, same car ,excat same set up.. so did that one really make 670? i was there saw the motor run on the dyno.i think thats pretty interesting, are online ones like the ones at tci website full of it or the dyno i used?i,m thinking if i used the same dyno in theory than this motor is making 700? ideas ? thoughts?

Rich, a couple of things are for sure. The new engine makes more power than the old one. The converter is WAY off the mark, you're barely leaving any harder than my street car, and still running LOW 10's!

I think if we get the converter on par, to put the engine in it's power curve sooner, and get that barge moving off the starting line better, you'll see high 9's on a regular basis!......Cliff

PS: Anybody seen their car here yet?

Cliff - I went to that site. They had thousands of pictures of the 2004 meet in Norwalk. That's the only meet I got my car to, and there wasn't a single picture of my car.
