motor mount part numbers 62 tempest
My book calls for (2) motor mounts gm # 539623 for both sides for a 62 tempest T4. Does anyone know if part number 544206 corresponds or superceded the old number of 539623? I have one of each, both look and measure identical, are they the same? thanks for any help.

Ken, Should be the same for 61-63 4 cyl.

LH & RH Motor Mounts For T/4
There is a difference between LH & RH motor mounts for the T/4 because of uneven weight distribution of the 1/2 V8.
LH motor mount is 544206 and RH is 539623. Although they may look and measure the same, the RH mount is designed to handle more weight. |

Must be an update then. My 61-62 Tempest parts manual has # 539623 for 61-62, 2 each, with 195 engine.
