Default It runs!!

I finally got my new motor and trans in and fired it up last night after 8 months. Fired on 1st key hit. Thing sounds great and mean. Had to sort out a couple of minor glitches and took it for a ride. The 2004r takes awhile to get used to and adjusted to my liking. Still working on that one. Put 100 miles on it country running. Still have a few issues to deal with but nothing big. I can go to Pontiac events this year in my car now! Look out world here I come, Pontiac style.

That's a great feeling, congrats!

If only I could find a trustworthy machine shop somewhere near me I might be able to get some work done on my cars too...

After all the changes over the last two years I have to install a larger radiator. Having mine made into a 4 row high efficient. Been running 195-210 city in 80-90 deg temps. Plus 190-200 highway. It will heat soak then cool down some once I get moving or slow down. I'm looking for 190-195 max anytime temp in hot weather. The stock three core just can't cool it anymore. Anybody got a 6" wp pulley they'd like to get rid of? Other wise tranns is nice and car runs fine. Haven't ran it thru the gears yet, only 300 miles on the motor. Man it's nice have the Pontiac back on the road!!
