Thumbs up She's Alive (Again)

Hey everyone.. just wanted to post that my 67 GTO is back on the road!! I picked up the engine on Friday, had some fellow PY'rs help install it on Sunday and I fired it up on Tuesday for the 1st time. All that I have left to do is set the timing and dwell and I'm good to go!
If you all remember the "Got Milk" thread from last year, I had water getting into the oil and found out that I had a chip in the surface of the deck that was directly under a water passage from the head. The water hit that chip (about as big as your pinky fingernail) and would seep down into the valley area and into the pan. I only had approx. 300 miles on her when I had to tear it back apart and have it resurfaced and rebuilt. Well that's all behind me now and I am looking forward to a great summer of car shows and cruises!! Hope to see you all at the Nationals this year in Columbus (June 26-30, 2007)

See ya around!!
Brian

Congrats Brian,

I remember the thread and it was not a good time.

I'm getting my engine this week and I am expecting to get a large shipment of parts including ceramic coated exhaust manifolds and a new Pypes system from our host early next week. If everything shows up I'm taking the rest of the week off and reassembling my car so hopefully next weekend I'll be as happy as you.

Enjoy your car it's a nice ride!!
