Default Parts Compatibility

Ok hopefully this question doesn't sound too stupid.

I've got a 400cid motor in my '71 lemans, and I'm eyeballing an edelbrock dual carb manifold I found locally. The catch is its for a Chevy small block. Now, seeing as Pontiac and Chevy are both GM subsidiaries, will this manifold fit on my motor, or are the Chevy and Pontiac blocks too different for something like that?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Will not fit unless you have a SBC in your Lemans!

you dont want dual quads anyway. Stay with a single carb, its much easier to tune and run, plus it will make just as much power as the 2x4. The stock intake is a great intake.
