Default crane rockers

I'm putting my 455 together and wanted to make sure that the crane 28755 roller rockers are good for the street. I bought them years ago and just never used them so I figured I'll put them to use. Also should the stock pushrods be ok with them? I'm running the crower 60919 with 64 heads and .020 cut off the deck.

Don't think I'd trust stock pushrods with a spring beefy enough for the 60919. Can't say on the rockers, but don't see why there'd be any particular problem with them.

These are the gold roller rockers, right? If so, the rockers are plenty strong enough. I'd buy new Smith Bros. pushrods, at 125-130, they are plenty strong and very nice race quality.

I'm glad I posted this. I need new springs it looks like. My cam card calls for 110-120 closed and 290-330 open.I have the 988 comp springs at 116 closed but only 230 open so I guess they won't be strong enough right? Also should I need a stock length or custom or do I need to wait until it's together to find out? and yes they are the gold rockers.

Also my cam card says to use springs 68405 and their website says to use 68404. Would I be better with the 68404 since they install at 1.6 height.

The Yellow/Gold Cranes seem pretty stout at 1.5:1.
The Orange Harland/Sharp seem pretty stout at 1.65:1 & 1/5:1

The factory steel rockers seems capably of being the "fuse-in-the-link" even at 1.5:1.

I JUST got a set of cast aluminum 1.65:1 Roller rockers, and they too APPEAR capably of being the "fuse-in-the-link" even at 1.65:1.

The 68404 will be plenty of spring for that application, even if you step up to 1.65 rockers.

I wouldn't buy pushrods 'til you've bolted the heads onto the block and can check for the length you need.

I'd back up what Will said about not doing anything on Pushrods until you have everything together so you can get an accurate lenght.
