Default Alternator Bolt Size HELP!

I lost the long bolt going to my alternator on my 76 firebird with a pontiac 350. Does anyone know the size of the bolt and it's length? I lost the spacer too, but I think I can make one of those.

Thanks!

Robert

Default Alt bolt...

3/8"-16 x 6" long, i have replaced all the hardware on my p/s & alt with ARP hardware, i buy the packs of 5. The only bolt that has not been replaced is that 6" long one because ARP only had them up to 5" long, they may have them in the 6" size now i don't know, 2 years ago they did not. Check a hardware store or junkyard, the spacers i have seen in the auto parts stores under the HELP line of products, the spacer is long, you just cut to size.
