Default Help Rookie Bodyman!!!!!!

OK so I replaced the hindges on my 69 GTO because they doors were dropping a little. Now I have a clearance problem between the door and front fender (passenger side). The gap at the rear of the door is the same as before and the door lines up well but now when I open the door the two front surfaces rub and is chipping the paint off. AAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!! What gives I tried loosening the front fender to see if I could pull it forward a little but no difference. Maybe I'll just weld and fill the seams and turn it into GTO General Lee...LOL By the way the driver door turned out perfect.

Thanks John

There should be a slight forward to rear adjustment on the door (maybe a 1/4"). Loosen your door hinge to body bolts and move the door back a bit. Just a thought...
